Follow step-by-step

Step 1: Access the Bulk Update Page

• From the Search page - navigate to the left menu bar and select the new Bulk Update option. (If you don’t see this, your admin may need to enable it.)
• The Bulk Update Grid will appear, displaying devices filtered by your search criteria.

Step 2: Filter Devices

• Use the search filters (same as the search page) to refine your dataset.
• Select a specific project or device type (e.g., iPhone).
• The grid will automatically update to show only the relevant devices.

Step 3: Update Device Attributes in Bulk

• Locate the Bulk Update Bar at the top of the grid.
• Enter a new value for the attribute you wish to update (e.g., "Test Name").
• Select either:
  • All devices in the filtered list
  • Individual devices by clicking checkboxes
• Click Apply to save changes.

Switching & Configuring Grids

The Bulk Update feature allows users to work within multiple grid layouts:

1. Switch Between Grids:

   • Click on a different grid view (e.g., “Cathode Grid” vs. another test).
   • The available attributes will update based on the selected grid.

2. Customize a New Grid:

   • Click the grid configuration menu.
   • Enable or disable specific attributes.
   • Drag attributes into the table to rearrange.
   • Name the new grid (e.g., "Test 2") and save.
   • Set the grid as your default layout or add it to your favorites.

3. Apply & Use Your Custom Grid:

   • Once saved as a favorite, your new grid will appear in the list.
   • Switch between grids as needed for different updates.
